Saraswanti Anugerah makmur readies IDR 153.75 billion of dividend
JAKARTA. PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk (SAMF), an NPK manufacturer and distributor that recently made its debut on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), will distribute cash dividend of DIR 153.75 billion that will be taken out of its 2022 net profit.
Yahya Taufik, President Director of SAMF, said that the cash dividend distribution aligns with the growth seen in the company’s sales and net profit in 2022. He mentioned that the sales proliferated 99% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 3.69 trillion in 2022. As a result, the net profit also grew 102% yoy IDR 345.99 billion.
SAMF’s remaining net profit in 2022 will be allocated to retained earnings. “Said decision was made official during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting on May 29, 2023,” Taufik added in the official statement.
The cash dividend will be disbursed to SAMF’s shareholders whose names have entered the official list by the recording date on June 12, 2023. Then, the cash dividend payment will be made on June 30, 2023.
Based on IDNFinancials data, SAMF has consistently distributed cash dividend since years ago. In 2020, the company gave out cash dividend of IDR 52.78 billion, while in 2021, the dividend clocked up to IDR 85.57 billion. (KR/ZH)
