JAKARTA - PT Kimia Farma Tbk (KAEF) will abstain from distributing dividend after scoring a loss in 2022. However, in the past two years, its equity has continued improve.

Based on the data compiled by IDNFinancials today (6/6), this issuer recorded sales of IDR 9.60 trillion in 2022, down from IDR 12.85 trillion in 2021. Its profit was at minus IDR 110 billion, plummeting from 2021’s profit of IDR 290 billion. For comparison, KAEF’s revenue in 2020 was at IDR 10 trillion, and its profit was IDR 20 billion.

In 2022 and 2021, Kimia Farma distributed dividend of IDR 16.32 per share from its 2021 net profit and IDR 1.27 per share from its 2020 net profit.

Although dealing with a loss, KAEF’s equity continues to rise well. In 2020, its equity was worth IDR 7.10 trillion, before increasing to IDR 7.23 trillion in 2021 and IDR 9.34 trillion in 2022. (LK/ZH)
