JAKARTA. PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) reveals the plan of cash dividend distribution of IDR 16.6 trillion that will be taken out of its 2022 net profit.

Said plan aligns with the result of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) that was held in late May 2023. In said meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 80% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

The dividend will be given to TLKM’s shareholders whose names have been registered by the recording date on June 13, 2023. The dividend will then be disbursed on July 5, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, TLKM recorded net profit of IDR 20.75 trillion in 2022. On top of this, it still held onto its unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 4.15 trillion and total equity worth IDR 149.26 trillion.

As of now, approximately 52.09% of TLKM’s shares are under the control of the Indonesian government through the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Public investors share another 44%, followed by The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation of 3.91%, leaving the remaining portion to be split among the board of directors and commissioners. (KR/ZH)
