JAKARTA. PT Emdeki Utama Tbk (MDKI), a chemical ingredient manufacturer, will distribute cash dividend of IDR 25.3 billion or IDR 10 per share that will be taken out of its 2022 net profit.

Happy Harsono, Corporate Secretary of MDKI, mentioned that said plan aligns with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held last Monday (5/6). In the meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 66.67% of the net profit gained in the fiscal year 2022 as cash dividend.

Then, another 1% or IDR 379.5 million of the net profit in 2022 will be stored as mandatory reserves, leaving the remaining IDR 12.27 billion stored as retained earnings.

The cash dividend will be channelled to MDKI’s shareholders whose names have entered the official list by the recording date on June 15, 2023. The dividend will be disbursed on July 7, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, MDKI scored IDR 37.95 billion of net profit in 2022. The company also held onto its unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 140.63 billion, as well as its total equity worth IDR 940.22 billion. (KR/ZH)
