JAKARTA - With a net foreign volume of 1.53 billion shares, the first trading day of June came to a close. On Monday, June 5, foreign investors bought 5.25 billion shares and sold 3.72 billion shares in total. The largest sales volume and net volume were once again recorded by the on-demand service provider PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), at 2.67 billion and 1.08 billion shares, respectively. In the meantime, after foreign investors sold roughly 153.07 million shares of this marketplace platform provider, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) shares became the shares with the lowest net volume, at -69.01 million.

PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), a coal mining company, was in second place on the top buy list with a net volume of 232.65 million shares and a purchase volume of 308.84 million. PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), a subsidiary of BUMI, came next with a net volume of 73.95 million shares, as 129.47 million of its shares were also purchased by foreign investors. Interestingly, the next two issuers, PT Wir Asia Tbk (WIRG) and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), both reported a net volume of around 32 million shares, despite the fact that BBCA's volume of foreign purchases was much higher than that of WIRG, which was 148.20 million BBCA and 41 million WIRG.

The national airline, PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA), in contrast, was the issuer that followed BUKA on the top sell list. Around 78.96 million shares of GIAA were released by foreign investors, for a net volume of -60.15 million. Two national banks, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), followed with negative net volumes of approximately 37–39 million. Both sales volumes—206.89 million BBRI and 115.39 million BMRI—were also considerably high. Last but not least, foreign investors sold around 35.60 million shares of PT Wijaya Karya Gedung Gedung Tbk (WEGE) without making a significant purchase, securing the net volume at -35.56 million.
