JAKARTA - PT Chitose Internasional Tbk (CINT) is consistent in distributing cash dividend to its shareholders although dealing with losses in two consecutive years. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, CINT’s performance could be deemed impressive.

The data compiled by IDNFinancials today (8/6) shows that CINT had distributed dividend from the fiscal year 2022 of IDR 1 per share on May 17, although it posted loss attributable to the parent entity of IDR 9.09 billion. Its retained earnings were recorded at IDR 3.04 billion, while the total equity clocked up to IDR 340.05 billion.

The amount of dividend distributed this year is IDR 1 per share, the same amount it has set since 2020. In 2021, the loss reached IDR 98.86 billion, followed by retained earnings of IDR 5.66 billion and total equity of IDR 349.51 billion. In 2020, the loss was IDR 1.06 billion, while the retained earnings were still at IDR 104.78 billion, and the total equity was worth IDR 385.35 billion.

Meanwhile, in 2019 and 2018, CINT’s dividend reached IDR 3 and IDR 2 per share, disbursed in 2020 and 2019, respectively. In 2019, the net profit clocked up to IDR 7.08 billion, while its retained earnings reached IDR 107.12 billion, and the total equity was worth IDR 389.67 billion.
