JAKARTA. PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) reveals its plan to distribute cash dividend of USD 228.37 million or approximately IDR 141.05 per share that will be taken out of its net profit in 2022.

Rachmat Hutama, Corporate Secretary of PGAS, mentioned that this plan had been approved during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders that was held last May 2023. In this meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 70% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

The cash dividend will then be disbursed to PGAS’s shareholders whose names have been listed under the Register of Shareholders by June 13, 2023. The actual disbursement will then take place on June 28, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, PGAS recorded net profit of USD 326.24 million in 2022. The company also secured retained earnings of USD 326.24 million and total equity worth USD 3.44 billion.

As of now, 56.97% of series B shares of PGAS is under control of PT Pertamina (Persero). Public investors claim another 43.03% of series B shares, while one series A share (Dwiwarna) is owned by the Indonesian government. (KR/ZH)
