JAKARTA - PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) will disburse dividend of IDR 6.36 trillion for the fiscal year 2022. It is IDR 1 trillion smaller than the amount of allocated dividend in the fiscal year 2021 of IDR 7.36 trillion.

The data compiled by IDNFinancials today (14/6) mentions that the dividend will amount to IDR 54.7 per share, distributed on August 27, based on the Official Register of Shareholders by the recording date on June 21. In 2022, the dividend reached IDR 63.3 per share, higher than the dividend per share given out this year.

The decreased dividend is in line with the decreased net profit attributable to the parent entity to IDR 6.32 trillion from IDR 7.13 trillion. In 2022, its net profit attributable to the parent company clocked up to IDR 6.37 trillion, while its equity was at IDR 28.17 trillion.

In 2021, this tobacco manufacturer posted unrestricted retained earnings of IDR 7.37 trillion and total equity worth IDR 29.19 trillion. (LK/ZH)
