JAKARTA – After 5 years of abstain, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK), widely known as Emtek, will finally distribute cash dividend to its shareholders. Emtek has been preparing final dividend of IDR 10 per share for the fiscal year 2022.

For the record, EMTK had distributed interim dividend of DIR 5 per share on September 27, 2022. Therefore, the remaining amount of this upcoming dividend is IDR 5 per share. Until May 31, 2023, Emtek’s shares clocked up to 60,997,804,933 shares, meaning that the company will channel out approximately IDR 305 billion of cash dividend this year.

Based on IDNFinancials data, EMTK has managed to record consistent revenue growth since 2017. At the end of 2022, the company scored IDR 15.5 trillion of revenue, increasing approximately 21% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 12.84 trillion. However, the net profit in 2022 slightly declined to IDR 5.44 trillion from IDR 5.66 trillion seen in December 2021 due to swollen operating expenses.

Until the end of Q1 2023, EMTK saw 14.3% yoy increase in revenue to IDR 3.88 trillion. However, it lost IDR 383.65 billion due to significant decline in losses on foreign exchange rates and associated entities. (ZH)
