JAKARTA. PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) reveals the plan of dividend distribution of USD 10 million taken out of its net profit in 2022.

Said plan is in line with the result of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of BRPT held a couple of days earlier. In this meeting, the shareholders agreed to channel 99% of the 2022 net profit, plus some portions of the retained earnings, as cash dividend.

The cash dividend will be given out to BRPT’s shareholders whose names have been officially registered by the recording date on June 22, 2023. The dividend disbursement will take place on July 14, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, BRPT posted net profit of USD 1.76 million in the fiscal year 2022. Meanwhile, the retained earnings at the end of 2022 were recorded at USD 293.6 million.

As of now, Prajogo Pangestu controls 70.85% of BRPT’s shares. Public investors have a claim over another 27.01%, followed by PT Barito Pacific Lumber of 1.20%, treasury stock of 0.60%, PT Tunggal Setia Pratama of 0.34%, leaving the remaining portion to directors and commissioners of the company.
