Protelindo Group secures extra facility of over IDR 3.4 trillion from BCA
JAKARTA. Protelindo Group has managed to acquire extra credit facility from PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) worth over IDR 3.4 trillion.
This credit facility is given out to PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo), PT iForte Solusi Infotek (iForte), PT Komet Infra Nusantara (KIN), PT BIT Teknologi Nusantara (BIT), PT Quattro International, PT Global Indonesia Komunikatama (GIK), and PT Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk (SUPR). Those entities are affiliated with SUPR.
Juliawati Gunawan Halim, Corporate Secretary of SUPR, claimed that said additional credit facility has been finally obtained after all debtors signed the 14th amendment of the agreement with BBCA as their creditors. The signing took place on June 12, 2023.
According to the amended agreement, SUPR and several other debtors will gain extra new credit facility with a total principal of IDR 3.4 trillion. Furthermore, the company and the debtors will also gain extra money market facility worth of IDR 1.5 trillion in total.
Halim also mentioned that this credit facility will be used to fund the group’s 2023 capital expenditure. On top of this, the facility will also be used to refinance some bank loans and bonds. “The structure of this transaction will allow the debtors to acquire financing facility under better terms and conditions,” she further explained.
For the record, the amendment of the facility is categorised as an affiliate transaction, as regulated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), as all debtors and BBCA are under the same business group, Djarum Group. (KR/ZH)
