JAKARTA - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) will distribute dividend for the fiscal year 2022 of IDR 12.6 trillion, shifting IDR 159% from the 2021 dividend of IDR 7.9 trillion. Similar to this year’s dividend plan, last year, PTBA also gave out the entire of the 2021 net profit to shareholders as cash dividend.

Apollonius Andwie, Corporate Secretary of Bukit Asam, confirms that shareholders agreed to allocate the entire profit as cash dividend to be distributed to rightful investors. “The shareholders agreed upon 100% allocation of the net profit in 2022,” Andwie added in the press release quoted Friday (16/6),

According to Andwie, the victorious record of profit resulted from 146% increase in revenue to IDR 42.6 trillion from IDR 29.3 trillion n 2021. Coal export volume was recorded at 12.5 million tons, while the realisation of domestic market obligation (DMO) was 19.2 million tons, or equal to 119% of the 2021 realisation of 16.1 million tons.

In 2022, PTBA distributed cash dividend of IDR 688.51 per share for the fiscal year 2021. The allocation was decided after referring to its net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 7.90 trillion, retained earnings of IDR 13.73 trillion, and total equity of IDR 24.25 trillion. (LK/ZH)
