JAKARTA – PT Pratama Abadi Nusa Industri Tbk (PANI) has officially changed its name to PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk. This new name once again highlights the change in its core business to real estate and property industry, particularly managing Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area. It also receives supports from Agung Sedayu Group and Salim Group.

According to the Public Expose of PANI today (19/6), the shareholders agreed upon the changes made in its board of directors and commissioners for the fiscal year 2023 during the Extraordinary General Meeting. Big names from Agung Sedayu Group and Salim Group are seen entering the upper management level.

Sugianto Kusuma, more popularly known as Aguan, the mastermind behind Agung Sedayu Group, is now assigned as President Director of PANI. He will be supported by Suryo Pranoto Budihardjo, a higher-up at PT Multi Artha Pratama (MAP), and Alexander Halim Kusuma as Vice President Directors.

Furthermore, Markus Kusumaputra, Ipeng Widjojo, Arthur Salim, Gianto Gunara, and Yohanes Edmond Budiman are listed as directors.

It is worth mentioning that MAP, whose 50% belong to PT Agung Sedayu, is the major shareholder of PANI. MAP acquired 88.07% of PANI in October 2021, claiming 11.9 billion shares until May 2023. Since then, the company’s focus has been redirected to property developer in PIK area.

Then, according to Ipeng Widjojo, PANI now manages two subsidiaries, PT Bangun Kosambi Sukses that focuses on commercial buildings and PT Panorama Eka Tunggal that was just established to anticipate the growing business of PANI in the future.

“PANI now has a landbank of 743 hectares in PIK, and is optimistic regarding its development potential,” Widjojo further claimed. (ZH)
