JAKARTA. PT Lima Dua Lima Tiga Tbk (LUCY), a listed company managing a bar and restaurant with a rooftop concept, has just opened a new Lucy In The Sky outlet in Surabaya, East Java.

The opening of the new outlet was carried out after previously LUCY opened a number of outlets at the end of 2022, which are spread across Jakarta and Bandung. LUCY's management said that the new outlet in Surabaya carries the concept of "bohemian garden vibe".

Lucy In The Sky Surabaya outlet is located in Tegalsari, one of the areas in Surabaya which is a shopping center and culinary destination. This outlet has a 2-floor area, with 250 seating capacity and a total visitor capacity of 900 people.

Randy Suherman, Marketing Director of Lucy In The Sky, said that the opening of the first outlet in East Java is a form of the company's seriousness to be closer to consumers outside Jakarta. "By bringing the excitement of Lucy In The Sky Jakarta to Surabaya, it is hoped that Lucy In The Sky Surabaya can become a new hangout destination that is fun, comfortable, cool with premium quality food and drink offerings," said Suherman, in his official statement.

Meanwhile Surya Andarurachman Putra, CEO of LUCY, said that the opening of the new outlet was expected to have a positive impact on the Food and Beverages (F&B) industry in Surabaya. "It is hoped that the presence of Lucy In The Sky in Surabaya can further enliven and encourage the F&B industry to grow and be able to compete globally," said Putra.

For the record, LUCY plans to open a number of new outlets in several strategic areas in Indonesia this year. Some of them are Medan, Makassar and Semarang. (KR/LM)
