JAKARTA. PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI), one of the leading retail issuers in Indonesia, announced a plan to distribute a cash dividend of IDR 132.32 billion or IDR 8 per share.

Eva Andrianie, Corporate Secretary of MAPI, said the plan was in accordance with the results of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) which was held on 20 June 2023.. At the meeting, shareholders agreed to allocate 6.27% of net profit for the 2022 financial year as cash dividends. 

Cash dividends will be given to MAPI shareholders whose names are registered in the register of shareholders on July 5, 2023. Cash dividend payments will be made on July 21, 2023. 

According to idnfinancials.com data, MAPI recorded a net profit of IDR 2.11 trillion in the 2022 financial year. At the end of the year, the company also had a retained earnings balance of IDR 5 billion and total equity of IDR 9.72 trillion. 

Currently PT Satya Mulia Gema Gemilang controls 51% of MAPI's shares. Public investors own 49% of the shares and a small portion are treasury shares. (KR/LM)
