JAKARTA. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) will distribute final dividend of IDR 2.7 trillion or IDR 71 per share, taken out of the net profit in the fiscal year 2022.

Nurdiana Darus, Corporate Secretary of UNVR, said that this plan is in line with the result of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held last week. In this meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 99.6% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

For the record, UNVR had previously channelled interim dividend of IDR 2.63 trillion or IDR 69 per share. Therefore, the total cash dividend given out by the company is IDR 5.34 trillion or IDR 140 per share.

The final dividend will be disbursed to UNVR’s rightful investors whose names are listed by the Official Register of Shareholders by the recording date on July 5, 2023. The dividend payment is scheduled to take place on July 20, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, as of now, 85% of UNVR’s shares is controlled by Unilever Indonesia Holding B.V., leaving the remaining 15% to public investors. (KR/ZH)
