Net foreign volume heads back to the red zone, then closes at minus 360 million shares
JAKARTA - On Monday, June 19, foreign net volume returned to the red zone, closing at 360,497,600 shares. This time, foreign investors bought approximately 2.04 billion shares and sold 2.40 billion. They sold the most shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), totaling 1.24 billion, with a net volume of around -461.46 million shares. Meanwhile, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) had the highest net volume with 167.23 million shares after foreign investors purchased 171.34 million shares.
PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) also reported a sales volume of 64.34 million shares and a net volume of approximately -36.16 million. PT Saptausaha Gemilangindah Tbk (SAGE) came next with a sales volume of 27.68 million and a net volume of -26.65 million shares. Following that, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) and PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) both reported net volumes of around minus 20–22 million shares, with foreign sales volumes of 35.27 million TLKM and 28.40 million NCKL, respectively.
Foreign investors, on the other hand, purchased 52.93 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) without selling too many, resulting in a relatively high net volume of 51.01 million shares. PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) recorded a relatively high net volume of nearly 40 million shares after foreigners purchased 65.06 million of its shares. Finally, foreigners purchased the hospital manager PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk (CARE) and the oil and gas tanker service provider PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) for 23 million shares each, for a net volume of 16.78 million CARE and 14.95 million BULL.
