JAKARTA – PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) is selected in three categories of Indeks52, a stock index initiated by Tempo.co and IDNFinancials. The launching event of this index went triumphantly last week (23/6).

In order to secure a position in categories of Indeks52, consisting of Main Index, High Dividend, High Growth, and Big Market Cap, Indeks52 Committee takes several criteria into consideration, including market capitalisation, frequency and volume of traded shares per day, free float, and number of shareholders. The index only features entities debuted in 2018 or older.

Main Index features the lowest market capitalisation of IDR 21 trillion and the highest of IDR 1.02 quadrillion. The market cap of this index represents 66.75% of total market cap recorded in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Then, High Dividend category records the highest dividend yield ratio of 24.21% and represents 60% of total market cap in IDX. Meanwhile, High Growth category has the highest average net profit CAGR of 237.19%, with its market cap representing 56% of total market cap. Lastly, Big Market Cap category lists entities with the lowest market cap of IDR 19 trillion, number of shareholders over 3,000, and market cap representing 69.08% of total market cap in IDX.

As seen in indeks52.id during today’s (26/6) trading session at 2.27 PM WIB, PGAS recorded market cap of IDR 31.75 trillion. The stock also increased 5 points to 1,305.

For the record, PGAS is planning a cash dividend distribution of USD 228.36 million tomorrow (27/6). It is equal to IDR 141.06 per share. The dividend allocation is made based on the record of net profit attributable to the parent entity of USD 326.23 million, retained earnings of USD 326.23 million, and total equity of USD 3.44 billion.
