Long weekend had JCI rising in first session
JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) reportedly strengthened during today’s (3/7) first session in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This trend marked the trading session in the first week of July 2023, which just starts again after the long time off for the stock exchange starting from last week (28/6).
Throughout last week, the stock trading session in IDX was seen slowing down, as indicated through JCI that had weakened in the past week. Last Tuesday (27/6), JCI was at 6,661.88, shifting down from 6,664.67 seen last week (26/6).
In the first session today (3/7), JCI was seen increasing from last week. It was at 6,675.5 at 9.53 AM WIB. LQ45 and IDX30 were also seen moving up to 948.66 and 492.91.
Several green-zone shares, as seen in indeks52.id, include PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP), and PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT). On the other hand, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) and PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) were seen decreasing. (LK/ZH)
