JAKARTA - On Wednesday, June 21, the addition of shares became the common theme in market hints. PT Asiantrust Arya Nusantara made the largest share purchase, adding 120 million shares in Express Taxi, PT Express Transindo Utama Tbk (TAXI) to be exact, giving this investor 6.41% control of the company. In addition, around 94.17 million shares of the private bank PT Bank Victoria International Tbk (BVIC) were added to the holdings of its majority shareholder, PT Victoria Investama Tbk.

Two foreign investors based in Singapore went stock shopping as well. Intrepid Investments Limited purchased 22.01 million shares of property company PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA), while Batubara Development Pte Ltd. purchased 15.5 million shares of accommodation service provider PT Singaraja Putra Tbk (SINI).

Not only that, but several other investments from the shareholders with more than 5% stakes were also recorded, albeit in smaller amounts. PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara kept on targeting 10.25 million shares of electric vehicle battery manufacturer PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), while PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari purchased 7.04 million shares of palm oil producer PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS). PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) was also buying its own stock, this time 5 million shares.

PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala was spotted purchasing 2.81 million additional shares in its financial subsidiary, PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA). Following suit, PT Pangan Sejahtera Investama purchased 1 million shares of PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk (AISA), a subsidiary that manufactures food and beverages.

Meanwhile, PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares were the only ones listed on the divestment list this time, following the release of 15.06 million shares in this on-demand service provider by GOTO Peopleverse Fund. (KD)
