JAKARTA - With only roughly 1.23 billion shares purchased and 1.75 billion shares sold, the trading of shares by foreign investors on Friday, June 23, did not seem to be particularly busy. These figures also brought the foreign net volume down to -517,423,000 shares. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) had the lowest net volume this time, with -171.78 million shares, after foreign investors released over 413.26 million shares of this on-demand service provider.

Furthermore, GOTO was followed by palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), which had a net volume of -88.27 shares. The total volume of foreign purchases of NSSS shares was around 91.81 million shares. Then, private bank PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) and national bank PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) both reported net volumes of around -40 million shares, despite the fact that BBRI had a higher sales volume (74.22 million shares) than BBKP (56.26 million shares). The top sell list was then closed by PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) with a sales volume of 44.50 million shares and a net volume of around -22.49 million.

PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), on the other hand, reported the highest net volume, nearly 20 million shares, with a foreign purchase volume of 31.70 million. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) was second with a net volume of 13.53 million shares due to foreign investors purchasing approximately 35.82 million shares of the mining company. Lastly, the oil and gas tanker company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), mining issuer PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), and snack food producer PT Jaya Swarasa Agung Tbk (TAYS) subsequently recorded net volumes of around 9–11 million shares. Nonetheless, the volume of foreign purchases of the three was quite diverse: 20.98 million BULL shares, 13.76 million ANTM shares, and 9.82 million TAYS shares. (KD)
