In July, fourteen bond issuers distributed bond payments; who will pay the most?
JAKARTA - For bond investors in 14 issuers, July is a promising month. These companies, ranging from financial companies to real estate and the media, will pay several bonds due to maturity this month. Bank Rakyat Indonesia will make the largest bond payment at the end of the month, disbursing IDR 2.5 trillion to its investors.
On July 3, 2023, the first two bonds to mature are from PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP) and PT Bank Pan Indonesia Tbk (PNBN). MNC Kapital, a financial subsidiary of the MNC Group, will pay IDR 300 billion in bond payments, while Bank Panin will pay IDR 100 billion. Furthermore, on July 6, bonds from the construction SOE PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) and its subsidiary, PT PP Properti Tbk (PPRO), will mature at the same time, worth IDR 460 billion for PTPP and IDR 142.5 billion for PPRO. The following day, PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk (ADMF), also known as Adira Finance, will spend a significant amount of money to pay for bonds totaling IDR 816.05 billion.
Indeed, there are bonds worth IDR 6.3 billion issued by media company PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) that will mature on July 7. However, BMTR also has bonds with a higher value, at IDR 312.67 billion, which will mature on July 15.
Furthermore, on July 11, PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk (ATIC) is scheduled to pay off IDR 559.99 billion in bonds payable. ATIC is a company that provides digital services and solutions. Then, bonds worth IDR 560 billion issued by palm oil company PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk (SMAR) will mature on July 16, followed by bonds worth IDR 400 billion issued by private bank PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (BNII) two days later.
By the end of the month, the chemical company PT Lautan Luas Tbk (LTLS) will have to spend IDR 181.55 billion to pay off its bonds, which matured on July 21, while PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) will have to spend IDR 517.30 billion on July 27. On July 30, three other issuers will complete this month's list of bond calls, namely timber and plantation company PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) with bond payments of IDR 275 billion, gold and mineral mining company PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) with payments of IDR 726.35 billion, and national bank PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) with payments of IDR 2.5 trillion.
