Sentra Food Indonesia's subsidiary receives IDR 20 billion capital injection
JAKARTA. PT Kemang Food Industries (KFI), a subsidiary of PT Sentra Food Indonesia Tbk (FOOD), has received a capital injection of IDR 20 billion from PT Super Capital Indonesia (SCI).
Karina Larasati Putri, Corporate Secretary of FOOD, said that the capital injection was received in order to increase KFI's paid-up and placed capital. "All of it is fully paid by the KFI shareholder, namely PT Super Capital Indonesia," said Putri, through an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
With the increase in capital, SCI's share ownership in KFI increased to 31.25%. Meanwhile, the portion of FOOD's shareholding in KFI was diluted to 68.75%. Previously, FOOD owned 86.84% of KFI's shares.
The nominal number of shares owned by SCI in KFI represents IDR 29.99 billion. Meanwhile, the nominal number of shares owned by FOOD is IDR 66 billion.
According to idnfinancials.com data, SCI is a company domiciled in Jakarta and started operating commercially since 2004. SCI is also the direct and ultimate parent entity of FOOD, with a shareholding portion of 76.92% as of March 31, 2023. (KR/LM)
