JAKARTA - PT Mitra Investindo Tbk (MITI) cooperates with Sanya South East Asia Ltd (SANY) and Emas Fortuna Ltd (EFL) to develop a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) or solar farm. 

In the disclosure of information quoted on Friday (7/7), Diah Pertiwi Gandhi, Corporate Secretary of MITI said that the company has signed a memorandum of understanding to explore business opportunities in the solar farm sector. "The agreement signed is valid for a year and will be extended if agreed by the parties," she said. 

According to her, the cooperation with SANY and EFL is in the form of a joint venture in procuring land for PLTS. The solar farm business line is in line with the government's clean and affordable energy program. 

"The development of solar technology and investment will provide clean, environmentally friendly energy and promote economic growth," she said. (LK/LM)
