MNC Sekuritas acquired 9.16 billion shares of MNC Land (KPIG)
JAKARTA - On Monday, July 3, PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), a member of the MNC Group involved in the entertainment and hospitality sectors, handed over more than 9.16 billion of its shares to PT MNC Sekuritas. This new investor is also a part of the MNC Group, which provides securities services, and now it controls 10.33% of KPIG.
Individual investor Ikra Zama Dinnata also increased his stake in PT Nusatama Berkah Tbk (NTBK), a manufacturer of special vehicles, by adding 163.30 million shares. PT Hanwha Life Insurance Indonesia also increased its stake in PT Lippo General Insurance Tbk (LPGI) by 35.33 million shares. Next in line, PT Hoki Investasi Sejati was investing another 2.05 million shares of PT Multi Indocitra Tbk (MICE), a company that sells baby and health products. PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk also acquired another 1.72 million shares in PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME), a hospital operator.
Interestingly, PT Superkrane Mitra Utama Tbk (SKRN) already sold 156 million of its own shares on the previous exchange day, and it did so again this time. This equipment rental, lifting, and construction company's ownership continued to dwindle until only 6.27% remained. Following that, the GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 86.17 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). GPF now owns only 6.19% of the GOTO shares.
Finally, three investors sold approximately 2 million shares of three different issuers. First, PT Tudung Putra Putri Jaya sold 2.20 million shares of FMCG issuer PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD), and then PT Toba Sejahtra released 2.15 million shares of energy and palm oil issuer PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA). The list was closed by the sale of 2.03 million shares of hospital management company PT Royal Prima Tbk (PRIM) by investors in the Deputy Attorney General on Special Criminal Affairs. (KD)
