JAKARTA - PT MPX Logistics International Tbk (MPXL) has obtained a cooperation contract for the transportation of fly ash and bottom ash (FABA) worth IDR 35 billion from PT Conch Cement Indonesia.

MPXL and Conch Cement signed the contract on Monday (10/7). The volume stated in the contract is 660,000 tons.

"The information and material facts mentioned above did not have a negative impact on the company's operational activities, law, financial condition, or business continuity," said Nilam Sari Siregar, Corporate Secretary of MPXL.

For information, FABA waste comes from burning coal. This type of waste has been excluded from the category of B3 waste (Hazardous and Toxic Materials) by the Government of Indonesia since 2021. (KR/LM)
