Foreigners purchased 2.39 billion shares, while the total number of shares sold was around 2.36 billion. Net foreign volume, while not excessive, could still result in a surplus of 23,930,400 million shares. PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), an e-commerce platform provider, opened the list of top-sell shares with a sales volume of 128.91 million shares and a net volume of around 103.38 million. Following closely behind BUKA was PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS). Foreign investors bought 107.99 million shares of this mineral mining company, bringing the net volume to 90.56 million. PT Wir Asia Tbk (WIRG) shares were also purchased in large quantities, totaling 63.56 million shares. Foreign investors, however, did not release many WIRG shares, so the net volume was relatively high at 62.94 million shares. The developer of the MM2100 industrial area, PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate Tbk (BEST), then recorded a sales volume of 37.58 million and a net volume of 34.42 million shares. Interestingly, foreign investors sold 225.19 million shares of the mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) in the market, but the purchase volume was also high, resulting in a net volume of only 31.02 million shares.
On the other hand, GOTO was followed by private bank PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) with a sales volume of 68.27 million and a net volume of -57.66 million. Then, without making any purchases, foreign investors sold 20.94 million shares of PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV), a media holding company. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) shares were also sold for as many as 88.81 million shares. Due to the comparatively large number of BBRI purchases, the company's net volume could be closed at minus -18.13 million shares. Finally, PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA) reported 16.55 million shares in foreign sales and a net volume of -16.33 million. (KD)
