JAKARTA - On July 12, a number of large investors decided to increase their stakes in several Indonesian companies. PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia made the largest investment this time, adding 247.61 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) to its holdings. This investment gave Samuel Sekuritas a 15.23% stake in the palm oil producer.

PT KB Valbury Sekuritas also purchased 183 million shares of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR), a manufacturing and infrastructure company, and PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia purchased an additional 77 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), an oil and gas tanker issuer. Furthermore, Hendriyanto Liem, an individual investor, became a new investor, holding a 5.23% stake in PT Graha Prima Mentari Tbk (GRPM) after purchasing 80.83 million shares of the official distributor of the Coca-Cola brand drink.

In addition, PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara continued to collect shares of electric vehicle battery producer PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), this time up to 5 million shares. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) and PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) then carried out share buybacks totaling 2.98 million DOID and 2.2 million RALS, respectively.

Meanwhile, PT Dwitunggal Perkasa Mandiri completed the largest divestment, selling 21 million shares in the shipping company PT Trans Power Marine Tbk (TPMA). Two foreign investors were also seen selling their shares: GOTO Peopleverse Fund, which sold 14.20 million shares of the technology company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), and Bintang Bara B.V., which sold 8.6 million shares of the energy company PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA).
