Gov’t to auction SUN again, this time eyeing IDR 14 trillion
JAKARTA. The Indonesian government once again arranges an auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) with an indicative target of IDR 14 trillion next Tuesday (25/7).
There will be seven series of SUN being put out to the public, consisting 2 series of State Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 other FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
The coupon set for SPN series is a discount, while the coupon attached to the ON series vary from 6.37% to 7.12%.
The SUN auction will adopt the auction system arranged by Bank Indonesia (BI). It will be an open auction with a multiple price scheme. All interested parties may submit their bids through the participants of the auction authorised by the Ministry of Finance.
According to IDNFinancials data, the government had previously conducted a SUN auction on July 11, 2023. In this round of auction, the incoming bids were recorded at IDR 47.79 trillion, while the awarded amount clocked up to IDR 13 trillion. (KR/ZH)
