JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) strengthened 0.50% at the closing bell of today’s (21/7) afternoon session. During the opening, JCI was seen climbing, yet fell into the red zone until 3 PM WIB.

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data compiled by IDNFinancials today shows that the negative sentiment of JCI lasted a while during today’s session, even starting from 9.30 AM WIB this morning. The index only gained strength nearing the closing bell of the second session today.

The capital market increase was also apparent through LQ45 that arrived at 961.535 or shifted 0.33% higher. IDX30 also increased 0.41% to 499.594, as did IDX80 by 0.48% to 133.046.

Several issuers that were seen riding the positive wave include PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), PT Alkindo Naratama Tbk (ALDO), PT Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (ALKA), PT Adira Dinamika Multif Finance Tbk (ADMF), and PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO).

On the other hand, the issuers that were seen declining are PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR), PT Polychem Indonesia Tbk (ADMG), PT Bank Raya Indonesia Tbk (AGRO), and PT Bank IBK Indonesia Tbk (AGRS). (LK)
