JAKARTA - The volume of foreign sales on Thursday, July 20, was significantly lower than the previous trading day, despite still being considerably high. Foreign investors sold a total of 2.73 billion shares while purchasing 2.53 billion. This time, the net foreign volume was still in the red, with minus 206,192,600 shares. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) once again had the lowest sales volume and net volume, with 828.32 million and -498.42 million shares, respectively. Meanwhile, after foreign investors purchased 267.85 million BUMI shares, mining holding company PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) became the company with the highest net volume, at 176.91 million shares.

GOTO was followed by private bank PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) with a net volume of -44.23 million. Foreign investors were seen releasing 44.90 million BBKP shares and only purchasing them in small quantities. Furthermore, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) and PT Industri Jamu and Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) reported negative net volumes of around 33–34 million shares, with sales volumes of 69.76 million TLKM and 36.20 million SIDO, respectively. Foreigners also sold up to 30.71 million shares of another telecommunications company, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), for a net volume of -22.34 million shares.

BUMI, on the other hand, was trailed by its own subsidiary, PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS). Foreign investors purchased a large number of shares in this mineral mining company, totaling 178.99 million shares, with a net volume of around 105.06 million shares. With a net volume of around 73.92 million, nearly 120 million shares of the home improvement retail store PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) were also purchased. Furthermore, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) reported foreign purchases of shares totaling 98.20 million shares, with a net volume of slightly more than 60 million shares. Finally, the shares of the electric vehicle manufacturer PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) were sold at a volume of 47.58 million shares without many sales, resulting in a relatively high net volume of 47.51 million shares.
