JAKARTA - On Tuesday, July 18, PT Global Mediacom Tbk, a member of the MNC Group and media holding company, purchased 2.43 billion shares of PT MNC Vision Networks Tbk (IPTV). Global Mediacom itself is MNC Vision's holding company and controlling shareholder. This share purchase then increased Global Mediacom's ownership from 52.22% to 58%.

A coal mining company operating in Central Kalimantan, PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL), was the next highlight news. Sujaka Lays, who owns one-third of the company, decided to sell 250 million COAL shares to another individual investor, Hendra Hasan Kustarjo. Sujaka now controls approximately 32.46% of the shares, while Hendra owns 11.2%.

Furthermore, SCG Retail Holding Co. Ltd., a Thai foreign investor, purchased additional shares in building materials trading company PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk (CSAP), totaling 378.40 million shares, for a total ownership of 32.88%. PT Pangan Sejahtera Investama also purchased another 1 million shares in PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk (AISA), a snack manufacturer. On top of that, three issuers were once again found to be buying back shares, namely PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) with 9 million shares, PT Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring Tbk (DGIK) with 3.72 million, and PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) with 2.5 million.

GOTO Peopleverse Fund, on the other hand, chose divestment, selling 83.14 million shares of technology issuer PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), followed by Bintang Bara B.V., which sold 27.80 million shares of energy issuer PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA). (KD)
