JAKARTA - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) or Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded market capitalisation of IDR 10.07 quadrillion during the closing bell at yesterday's (26/7) session. This number shows improvement gained from the previous record of IDR 10.02 trillion last Tuesday (25/7).

The IDX data compiled by IDNFinancials today (27/7), the increase in market cap was accompanied with the growth in daily average stock transaction. The frequency of trades was reported at 1.18 million transactions while the value of daily average transactions reaches IDR 10.21 trillion, and the average of transaction volume hits 18.34 billion units daily.

The market cap in the fourth week of July 2023 showed an IDR 619 trillion increase from the market cap in June 2022, which was stuck at IDR 9.49 quadrillion.

Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) also hit 6,948.279 at 4 PM WIB yesterday (26/7), shifting 0.44% higher. Earlier that morning, JCI hit 6,955.975, scoring 0.55% increase.

Several issuers entering the Top 10 Market Cap include BBCA of IDR 1.14 quadrillion, BBRI of IDR 851 trillion, BYAN of IDR 699 trillion, BMRI of IDR 515 trillion, TLKM of IDR 384 trillion, ASII of IDR 267 trillion, TPIA of IDR 178 trillion, BBNI of IDR 165 trillion, AMMN of IDR 164 trillion, and UNVR of IDR 151 trillion.
