JAKARTA - PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA) booked revenue of IDR 3.5 trillion and profit of IDR 808 billion in the first half of 2023. In the same period in 2022, this company scored revenue and profit of IDR 3.37 trillion and IDR 777.01 billion.

According to the press release quoted Wednesday (2/8), Kurnia Hadi Sinanto, Director of AVIA, said that the total sales rose 3.8% from the same period last year. “The gross profit margin was recorded at 45.2% or IDR 1.6 trillion, shifting 14.5% from the same period last year of IDR 1.4 trillion,” he added.

Sinanto said that the architecture solution contributed 82.3% to the total revenue. This segment includes wall paint, leak-proof coating paint, wood paint, and metal paint. The remaining 17.2% was brought in by trading goods segment.

In the architecture solution segment, highest sales were recorded in the leak-proof coating paint category, covering 25.7% of sales. Then, wall paint and wood-metal paint covered 23.7% and 19.5%. In the trading goods segment, the primary contributor was PVC pipe of 12.9%.

The increased sales of AVIA were supported by the scope of its distribution outlets, consisting of 114 units of its own distribution centres, 37 third-party distribution centres, and 13 mini distribution centres. In the first half of 2023, AVIA had established 5 extra self-owned distribution centres and 9 additional mini distribution centres. (LK/ZH)
