JAKARTA. PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS) and several subsidiaries have received syndicated credit facility with a limit of USD 180 million from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI).

Sudin SH, Corporate Secretary of GEMS, said that several subsidiaries that receive a syndicated loan facility are PT Borneo Indobara (BIB), PT Barasentosa Lestari (BSL), and PT Roundhill Capital Indonesia (RCI).

The syndicated loan facility by BMRI consists of 2 tranches. Tranche A is given in the form of a term loan, while Tranche B is given in the form of revolving term loan. The limit for Tranche A is set to USD 50 million, while the limit for Tranche B is USD 110 million. In addition to all those, BMRI also grant accordion facility with a maximum limit set to USD 20 million.

The credit facility also has a tenor of 5 years. GEMS and its subsidiaries will then use the facility for refinancing, capital expenditure financing, operational expenditures, and working capital.

“The company and its subsidiaries will sign the guarantee after the company secures approval from General Meeting of Shareholders, as required according to applicable law and articles of association,” Sudin added in the official statement. (KR/ZH)
