JAKARTA. PT Selaras Citra Nusantara Perkasa Tbk (SCNP), a household electronic equipment manufacturer, has divested its entire portion in its subsidiary, PT Selaras Donlim Indonesia (SDI).

Djamarwie, Director of SCNP, said that the number of shares issued by the company is 55,000 units worth USD 5.5 million. It is equivalent to 55% of the issued and paid-up capital of SDI.

The entire portion of SCNP in SDI will be transferred to Guangdong Xinbao Electrical Appliances Holding Co. Ltd. (GXEAH) and Dragon Will Enterprise Ltd. (DWE). Exactly 45,000 shares are transferred to GXEAH, while another 10,000 will be handed over to DWE.

Djamarwie mentioned that the divestment of SDI’s shares is in line with the company’s strategy to diversify its business in the medical device industry. “Just as mentioned in the prospectus of IPO of the company,” he added.

One of the medical devices that will be developed by SCNP is Non-Invasive Vascular Analyzer or NIVA, which is designed to detect cardiovascular disease early. (KR/ZH)
