CENT to acquire 397 towers for IDR 1.15 trillion
JAKARTA. PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (CENT), a telecommunication company under EP ID Holdings Pte Ltd, has acquired 397 telecommunication towers from PT Anugerah Communicatoin (PTAC).
This acquisition is carried out by CENT’s subsidiary, PT Centratama Menara Indonesia (CMI). For the record, CMI is a company directly owned by CENT with an ownership portion of 99.99%.
The asset transfer agreement was signed by CMI and PTAC on August 2, 2023. The agreed transaction value is IDR 1.15 trillion.
“With the signing of this transfer agreement, SMI has become the legal owner of transaction of these transaction objects,” Yan Raymond Jafri, President Director of CENT, confirmed in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
The payment of this tower acquisition will be made in stages. The fund source used by CMI is not publicly disclosed. However, according to IDNFinancials, CENT only recorded cash of IDR 481.05 billion as of June 30, 2023. (KR/ZH)
