JAKARTA - On Wednesday, August 2, cinema issuer PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (CNMA) saw billions of its shares leave the hands of two large investors. First, PT Harkatjaya Bumipersada, CNMA’s controlling shareholder, sold 15 billion shares of CNMA, dropping its ownership from 71.99% to 53.99%. Then, PT Adi Pratama Nusantara released 3.75 billion CNMA shares, reducing its stake from 18% to 13.5%. Nusantara Sejahtera Raya is known as a cinema group company that manages the Cinema XXI, Premiere, and Cinema 21 cinema networks.

Furthermore, two foreign investors were seen selling shares once more: the GOTO Peopleverse Fund, which sold 67.68 million shares of digital ecosystem issuer PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), and Bintang Bara B.V., which released 2.5 million shares of energy issuer PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA). Two individual investors also made the decision to sell their stock. Hendra sold 2.5 million shares of the express taxi company PT Express Transindo Utama Tbk (TAXI), and Lawrence Tjandra sold 1.54 million shares of the IT firm PT Wira Global Solusi Tbk (WGSH).

Meanwhile, UOB Kay Hian Private Limited invested for the first time in PT Tripar Multivision Plus Tbk (RAAM), also known as Multivision Plus, by purchasing 453.06 million shares. The purchase also gave the Singaporean investor 7.31% ownership of the production house company. Winston Karim, an individual investor, also recently purchased 33.92 million shares of PT Ricky Putra Globalindo Tbk (RICY), giving this new investor a 5.29% stake in the textile company. Another individual investor, Leonard Setiawan, invested an additional 20 million shares in PT Widiant Jaya Krenindo Tbk (WIDI), a company that rents construction equipment. Finally, PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) persisted in conducting share buybacks on a regular basis, this time totaling 2.5 million shares. (KD)
