JAKARTA. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk. (DOID) canceled its plan to extend its share buyback because POJK regulation 13/2023 revoked and declared POJK 2/2023 no longer valid. As of August 4, the coal contractor issuer had spent IDR 513.89 billion to purchase 14.89% or 1.28 billion DOID shares. 

Management in the disclosure of information explained that on 1-4 August 2023 it had made a buyback which was an extension of the previous period. At first, DOID planned to extend the buyback period from 1 August 2023 to 31 October 2023. Purchase of shares from the plan to extend this buyback It only lasts for 4 days, from 1 August 2023 to 4 August 2023.

DOID Director Dian Sofia Adyasuri in the information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) said that on August 1, 2023, her party bought 7 million shares at IDR 393.35/share, another 7 million shares on August 2, 2023 at IDR 392.89, on August 3 2023 as many as 7 million shares at a price of IDR 382.67 / share and the last purchase was made by DOID of 5.43 million shares at a price of IDR 395.66 per share. 

Thus, DOID recorded purchases of 26.43 million shares at an average purchase price of IDR 390.87 per share. DOID spent IDR 10.3 billion for the purchase. With the previous buyback, DOID spent a total of IDR 513.89 billion to buy back shares. (AM/LM)
