Karya Supra Perkasa acquires nearly 70 million more shares of Acset Indonusa (ACST)
JAKARTA - After purchasing over 629 million shares on the previous trading day, PT Karya Supra Perkasa added nearly 70 million shares of PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) on Monday, August 7. This controlling shareholder's stake in the company increased slightly to 87.69%. Following that, share buybacks were chosen by department store company PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) and mining holding company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), which purchased around 7.80 million and 7 million shares, respectively.
PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME)'s controlling shareholder, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk, also increased its holdings by 3.19 million shares. Then, a Singapore-based foreign investor, UOB Kay Hian Pte Ltd., purchased 1.1 million shares of cassava food product manufacturer PT Budi Starch & Sweetener Tbk (BUDI). Medya Lengkey S., an individual investor in PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL), also decided to increase her stake in this information technology firm by 500 thousand shares.
PT Esa Gemilang, on the other hand, made the largest share reduction by selling 42.40 million shares of coal company PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL). Furthermore, PT Darbe Putra Makmur released 19.50 million shares of PT Darmi Bersaudara Tbk (KAYU), a timber company, and the GOTO Peopleverse Fund released 16.43 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), a digital ecosystem issuer.
