JAKARTA. PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) announces the plan to divest 62.6 million treasury shares to several affiliates.

The management of SSIA said that previously, the total treasury shares recorded by the company amounted to 156.71 million shares. The entire treasury stock was collected from the buyback held from 2013 to 2020.

So far, the management of SSIA said that the company has allocated 94.1 million treasury shares in a Management and Employee Stock Option Program (MESOP). Therefore, the number of treasury shares left to be transferred is 62.6 million shares.

The management of SSIA has specifically mentioned the remaining treasury shares will be sold to Johannes Suriadjaja (President Director), The Jok Tung (Director), and Sonny Satia Negara (Director). “The transfer will take place on August 25, 2023,” the management said in the official statement.

In today’s (14/8) opening bell, SSIA’s stock price opened at IDR 396 per share. Assuming that said price will be applied for this divestment, SSIA will potentially raise fresh fund of up to IDR 24.54 billion from this treasury shares’ sale. (KR/ZH)
