JAKARTA - On Wednesday, August 9, PT Honoris Corporindo Pratama increased its stake in property developer PT Modernland Realty Tbk (MDLN) by more than 10%. This investor purchased 1.32 billion shares of MDLN, increasing its ownership from 16.07% to 26.66%. Modernland Realty is a developer with a diverse portfolio of modern city development projects, residential areas, industrial areas, shopping malls, and hotels.

Lawrence Tjandra was also reported to have purchased 268.38 million shares of PT Multi Makmur Lemindo Tbk (PIPA), giving him a 7.84% stake in the building material manufacturing company. PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) was also continuing to conduct share buybacks, this time for up to 7 million shares. Not only that, but two foreign investors from Singapore were seen buying shares, beginning with Bank of Singapore Limited, which recently purchased 25.89 million shares in the reinsurance company PT Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia Tbk (MREI) with a 5% stake. UOB Kay Hian Private Limited also acquired 2.45 million shares in the production house PT Tripar Multivision Plus (RAAM), or Multivision Plus.

Meanwhile, PT Esa Gemilang reduced its holdings in the coal mining holding company PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL) by 60.5 million shares. GOTO Peopleverse Fund also released PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares as usual, this time totaling 21.13 million. Hendra, one of the individual investors in PT Express Transindo Utama Tbk (TAXI), then sold 11.5 million shares. Finally, PT Semangat Bambu Runcing chose to divest the shares of broadcasting issuer PT Net Visi Media Tbk (NETV) and the Deputy Attorney General on Special Criminal Affairs for the Republic of Indonesia for the shares of health issuer PT Royal Prima Tbk (PRIM), each of which sold approximately 3.5 million shares.
