JCI climbed again in Tuesday’s closing bell
JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was seen increasing 0.44% in today’s (15/8) closing bell. In the morning session, JCI was corrected to 6,904.2 right after the market was opened.
Based on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data, throughout today’s session, JCI mostly fluctuated, with a hint of positive trend. It once peaked at 6,942.39 in morning session, recorded at 11.15 AM WIB. Then, it slightly declined albeit remaining in the green zone until today’s closing bell.
Until 4 PM WIB, JCI reportedly closed at 6,915.10, declining slightly from the morning session. Nevertheless, it is still deemed a positive shift as JCI managed to hit over 6,900.
Several indexes also showed positive sentiment at the end of today’s session. They include LQ45 that rose 0.45% to 968.651, IDX30 0.46% to 502.347, and IDX80 0.57% to 133.453.
The rising companies recorded in today’s second session were PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AGRO), PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT), PT Arwana Citra Mulia Tbk (ARNA), PT Cilacap Samudera Fishing Industry Tbk (ASHA), and PT Allo Bank Indonesia Tbk (BBHI).
On the contrary, several issuers whose stocks were contracted were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), and PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD). (LK/ZH)
