Indonesian gov’t eyes IDR 14 trillion in next week SUN auction
JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will hold an auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) with an indicative target of IDR 14 trillion on next Thursday (24/8).
There are 7 series of SUN offered in this auction. They consist of 2 series of Government Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
Both SPN series are offered with a discount coupon each, while 5 ON series will be equipped with coupon ranging from 6,375% to 7.125%.
The allocation of non-competitive purchase for SPN series is 50% of the total awarded amount, while the allocation of non-competitive purchase for ON series is 30% of the total awarded amount.
SUN public offering will adopt the auction system arranged by Bank Indonesia (BI) as the auctioning agent. It will be an open auction that uses multiple pricing scheme. All parties may submit their bids through an agent authorised by the Ministry of Finance. (KR/ZH)
