JAKARTA - PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk (SMSM), a manufacturer of heavy equipment and four-wheelers, booked dividends of IDR 42.92 billion channelled by three of its subsidiaries.

In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (22/8), Ang Andri Pribadi, President Director of Selamat Sempurna, specified that PT Panata Jaya Mandiri (PJM) gave IDR 22.75 billion, PT Hydraxle Perkasa (HP) paid out IDR 7.64 billion, while PT Prapat Tunggal Cipta (PTC) channelled IDR 12.52 billion.

PJM started operating in 1985 with SMSM’s owning 70% of the shares. Its total assets clocked up to IDR 743 billion in June 2023. Then, PTC started its operation in 1994, with SMSM’s stock ownership reaching 99.9% and total assets of IDR 522 billion. Meanwhile, HP is engaged in the lifting equipment industry since 1985 with total assets of IDR 283 billion.

SMSM is known as one of constituents of Indeks52 that has routinely scheduled dividend distribution each quarter to its shareholders since 2015. This August 23, 2023, the company will pay out another dividend of IDR 143.96 billion or IDR 25 per share.

In the first half of 2023, SMSM recorded profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 429.33 billion, while its retained earnings were IDR 2.76 trillion, and total equity reached IDR 3.42 trillion. (LK/ZH)
