JAKARTA - Phillip Securities Pte Ltd. purchased 50.59 million shares of general contractor and interior design firm PT Sumber Mas Konstruksi Tbk (SMKM) on Friday, August 11. This Singapore-based foreign investor saw a 4% increase in ownership, to 16.55%. Meanwhile, PT Zareen Kapital Investama sold 49.90 million shares of SMKM, reducing its ownership from 16.79% to 12.8%.

PT Arthakencana Rayatama then purchased 9.04 million shares of PT Arkha Jayanti Persada Tbk (ARKA), a manufacturer of engineering transportation equipment and heavy equipment components. The department store company PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) then bought back 6.25 million RALS shares, while individual investor Prajogo Pangestu, who controls PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), purchased another 2.14 million shares of the forestry firm. This was followed by PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk, which purchased 2.01 million shares of PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME), a medical company.

Then, from the stockpile of PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia, approximately 277.79 million shares of palm oil producer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS) were sold. Furthermore, foreign investor GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 41.81 million shares of the tech company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). Individual investors were also seen selling shares, including Leonard Setiawan, who sold 3.63 million shares of PT Widiant Jaya Krenindo Tbk (WIDI), and Tee Teddy Setiawan, who sold 2 million shares of PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH). WIDI is a heavy equipment rental service provider, whereas CASH is a digital payment service provider. (KD)
