JAKARTA. PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) secures new contracts worth IDR 18.8 trillion until July 2023, increasing 23% from the record in the same period last year. 

Farid Budiyanto, Corporate Secretary of ADHI, said that most of these new contracts came from the Engineering & Construction business line, which covered 92% of total new contracts. Meanwhile, the property business only made up 3% of the total new contracts, leaving small remaining portion to other business lines.

Based on the type of the project, Budiyanto said that most of the new contracts until July 2023 consists of road and bridges construction, contributing 48% to the total contracts. Then, railway projects follow with 20%, while building constructions cover another 14%, and the water resources make up 9% of tot new contracts. The remaining portion came from other infrastructure projects. 

Several new contracts obtained by ADHI until this July consist of railway project of North-South Commuter Railway CP S-03C in the Philippines. In addition, there are also the Water Treatment Plant project in Palembang, Breakwater project for Cilacap Beach, as well as Biofarma building. (KR/ZH)
