Hendra Kustarjo purchased 450 million shares after two large investors let go of Black Diamond (COAL) shares
JAKARTA - Two large investors released hundreds of millions of shares of PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL) on Tuesday, August 15. Sujaka Lays, an individual investor, sold 200 million shares of COAL, while PT Esa Gemilang sold 142.15 million shares. However, another individual investor called Hendra Hasan Kustarjo purchased 450 million shares of this coal mining company, increasing his ownership from 11.2% to 18.4%.
Furthermore, PT ALSOK BASS Indonesia Security Services decided to purchase 340 million shares in PT Shield On Service Tbk (SOSS). This new investor owns approximately 51.21% of the outsourcing service provider and is now the controlling shareholder. PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) also conducted a 5.2 million share buyback. Furthermore, two major individual investors decided to increase their ownership, beginning with Low Tuck Kwong, who purchased 18.92 million shares of PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN), and Prajogo Pangestu, who purchased 5 million shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT). BYAN is a coal-mining company, whereas BRPT is a natural resources company.
Malacca Trust Pte Ltd., on the other hand, was recorded as selling 3.19 million shares of PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk (BPII), a company engaged in business and management consulting. Another highlight is Faadhil Irshad Nasution's divestment of two issuers at the same time. This individual investor sold 98,300 shares of PT Kedaung Indah Can Tbk (KICI) and 25,200 shares of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk (MRAT). KICI is a company that manufactures appliances for the kitchen, whereas MRAT manufactures cosmetics and herbal drinks. (KD)
