Manunggal Prime acquires nearly 1 billion Alam Sutera (ASRI) shares
JAKARTA - On Friday, August 18, PT Manunggal Prime Development, the controlling shareholder of PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk (ASRI), purchased an additional 980.80 million shares of ASRI. Manunggal Prime now owns around 5.23 billion shares, which equates to 26.65% of the company. Foreign investors GOTO Peopleverse Fund, which purchased 794.82 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), and PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia, which purchased 357.30 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), also purchased high-volume shares. GOTO is a digital ecosystem firm, whereas NSSS is a palm oil producer.
A total of 24.75 million shares of digital solutions company PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk (DMMX) were then purchased by foreign investor Bank of Singapore Limited. Individual investor Charlianto also added 18.85 million shares of timber company PT Darmi Bersaudara Tbk (KAYU) to his portfolio, while department store management PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) conducted a 5.6 million share buyback.
PT Esa Gemilang, on the other hand, sold the most shares this time, with 333.85 million shares of coal producer PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL) released. The electronic equipment retailer, PT Electronic City Indonesia Tbk (ECII), then sold 33.26 million of its own shares. The Deputy Attorney General on Special Criminal Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia also sold shares of the hospital company PT Royal Prima Tbk (PRIM), this time for a total of 2.01 million shares, while foreign investors KK Investment Holdings Pte Ltd. released 800,000 company shares of PT Venteny Fortuna International Tbk (VTNY).
