JAKARTA. PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk (HITS) and PT Pelindo Jasa Maritim (PJM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the development of port services.

Tonny Aulia Achmad, President Director of HITS, said that with this MoU, the company and PJM will optimise the business potential and available resources. "It is to optimise the maritime sector and aims for sustainable progress," he added.

Achmad mentioned that HITS and PJM will form a joint team to conduct an in-depth study of said work plan. "Both will also explore other collaboration potential aligning with each of their expertises," he explained.

As of now, the top-priority study is an evaluation of ship, equipment, and dredging services amidst the work area of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero). “This research will be conducted based on the priority scale, and the benefits will be reaped by both parties," stated Achmad. (KR/ZH)
